VELO in Bangalore: the fruit and berry cans, one by one

VELO's fruit side runs from mango, grape and berries to watermelon, citrus and elderflower, at 4mg to 14mg and ₹999 to ₹2,999 a can on our shelf. Where the fruit cans stand today

All of them are listed and none can ship. The VELO collection shows each one marked Sold out, which is normal between batches and not a sign we've dropped the brand. Nothing will ping you when a batch lands, because we don't send restock alerts. Three habits work instead:

• Look at the VELO collection, or at what's in stock, whenever you're about to order something else.
• Tap the heart on the fruit cans you like. Signed in, they wait together in The Stash, where a sold-out can reads "Restocking" until it's back.
• Ask on WhatsApp (+91 98455 14710, 10am to 10pm daily). We'll tell you what we know, without promising a date.

The fruit and berry cans, one by one

One fruit-adjacent can is missing from the table on purpose. For the McLaren Limited Edition 2024 at 11mg we don't have VELO's flavour notes, and our page says so rather than guessing.

Plain, iced or warm: the pattern in the names

Laid out like this, VELO's fruit cans fall into three styles, and the style matters as much as the fruit.

• Plain fruit. Tropical Mango, Breezy Mango, both Purple Grapes, Ruby Berry, Blue Raspberry, Orange Spark and Sweet Papaya. Our copy mentions no ice and no heat; the fruit is the whole story.
• Fruit with ice. Icy Berries, Icy Cherry, Strawberry Ice, Wintery Watermelon, Watermelon Ice and Arctic Grapefruit. Fruit first, a chill after. The giveaway words are Icy, Ice, Wintery and Arctic.
• Fruit with warmth. Mango Flame, Lime Flame and the three fruit Shift Hot cans, which finish warm instead of cold. VELO in Gurgaon is all about this group.

If menthol isn't for you, skip the iced group however good the fruit sounds. If plain fruit tends to feel too sweet, an iced can usually reads as fresher. And Lime Flame's own page likens it to nimbu with a pinch of chilli, which tells you fast whether the warm group will suit you.

Choosing a fruit VELO for when it's back

Fruit is where VELO's strengths spread out most, so settle the strength before the flavour.

• Light (4mg to 6mg), all ₹999. Lime Flame at 4mg, then Tropical Mango, Purple Grape, Ruby Berry, Wintery Watermelon and Arctic Grapefruit at 6mg.
• Medium (7mg to 12mg). Most of the fruit range: Zesty Elderflower at 7mg, Blue Raspberry, Icy Berries, Icy Cherry, Sweet Papaya and the Shift cans at 8mg, Watermelon Ice at 9mg, Mango Flame, Purple Grape and Strawberry Ice at 10mg, Orange Spark at 11mg.
• Strong (13mg and up). One fruit can only, Breezy Mango 14mg. Everything stronger in VELO is mint.

Two price quirks. Icy Cherry costs ₹1,499 at 8mg, ₹400 above the other 8mg berry cans. Sweet Papaya is a limited edition at ₹2,999, so think of it as a collector's can rather than a daily one. VELO in Hyderabad explains the price tiers, and VELO in India has the brand's full strength table.

Fruit cans you can order today

While VELO restocks, the fruit that ships comes from CLEW and ZYN. CLEW Mango, Watermelon and Blueberry come at 5mg (₹799), 10mg (₹899), 15mg (₹999) and 20mg (₹1,099). ZYN Black Cherry and Apple Mint come at 3mg and 6mg, ₹999 each.

These are family matches, not copies. CLEW's Blueberry has no ice on top, its Watermelon is described as a cold slice rather than a sweet, and nothing in stock is warm or citrus. ZYN Apple Mint is the nearest sharp, fresh fruit: green apple, a touch sour, then mint. When your VELO sits between two strengths, take the lower one. Getting fruit cans to a Bangalore address

For now that means CLEW and ZYN; VELO rejoins the list when a batch arrives. Koramangala, Indiranagar, HSR Layout, Whitefield, Electronic City, Jayanagar and most other Bangalore pincodes are covered. Which VELO fruit flavour is the sweetest?

Going by our product copy, Blue Raspberry (sweet and tangy) and Tropical Mango (soft and sweet) lean sweetest. Purple Grape is sweet but rounded.
